Hockey School Itinerary

The days are full days from approximately 8:00am - 4:00pm, however, times may vary depending on registration numbers. A full schedule will be emailed out to each participant closer to the start date of the camp. Each girl will be on the ice twice a day as well as learn valuable off-ice hockey instruction also twice a day. Girls will be supervised all day and assistance in getting dressed in their hockey equipment will be available for the younger groups.

On Ice

Athletes will have two ice times a day where they will learn to skate, pass, stickhandle and shoot. Every session will also have a dedicated goalie coach. Groups will have a max of 30 skaters and 4 goaltenders. There will also be two scrimmage games throughout the week.

Off Ice

Athletes will be coached and taught by certified training professionals. Depending on the athletes age group, they will have several hockey off-ice training sessions as well as be introduced to other athletic activities. We feel it's very important hockey players be well rounded athletes.

Ages

7-17. Beginners to Elite players all welcome. Groups will be based on age, however, parents can always change the group assigned to them depending on skill, need for carpool or other requirement.

Instructors

You will not get more experienced instructors at any other girls or women's hockey school. Our instructors come from international hockey, professional women's hockey, university hockey (both U Sports and NCAA) as well as teachers and educators. Out list changes yearly based on availability, however, Sami Jo is there all day for the entire week.

And the parent/guardian must indicate how much they are willing to pay. ($0-$full price)Sami Jo will assess the email and decide if the applicant is worthy of the bursary.

Billet Program

Are you willing to be a billet? Do you need a billet? If you are interested in either one, please email Sami Jo at samismall@hotmail.com. If you accepted as a billet, we will take $200 off the price of the camp. If we are successful in finding you a billet, there will be a $200 fee on top of registration.
