Thank you to all the 120 girls that participated in this, my 12th year operating in Winnipeg. The girls were able to learn new hockey skills as well as make new friends all with the help of my incredible roster of 20 instructors that included 4-time Olympian and recent Vancouver Gold Medallist, Jennifer Botterill. The camp included power skating, puckhandling, shooting as well as tactical play all taught by accomplished instructors dedicated to instilling their passion for the game into the girls. Off-ice activities ranged from off ice hockey training to games to scavenger hunts. Aiming to make the camp fun and interactive we also had a special surprise this year for the girls as one afternoon all the girls were fortunate enough to try the sport of sledge hockey, thanks to 3 time Paralympian, Billy Bridges.

My first full week for both players and goaltenders in Oakville, ON will feature Olympic Gold Medallists Cherie Piper and Jennifer Botterill as well as a great cast of instructors.

Joshua Creek arena is located near Ford Drive and the QEW just west of Mississauga, ON only 30 minutes from the Toronto airport.

2 ice sessions per day + 2 off-ice sessions per day. Full days, approx 9am-4pm.

Ages 7-17. Cost $399. Beginners to Elite players all welcome.

Run specifically for the female goaltender looking to improve her game and to learn from the best female goaltenders in the game. Student-Teacher ratio is very low and groups will be limited to ensure that each goaltender receives individualized attention. As a goaltender on Canada's National Team for 10 years Sami Jo Small brings her expertise and knowledge, along will many qualified instructors, to provide young female goaltenders with mentors and role models in a fun environment.

I’m so excited that this will be the twelfth anniversary of my female hockey school. The camp has grown to become one of the largest female only hockey school in the world teaching nearly 400 females annually. I am very proud of the success of the hockey school and it’s in large part to the incredible staff I am fortunate to have year after year. The goal of the camp is to improve the player’s knowledge of the women’s game while working on skills, sportsmanship and team play. Whether you’re a beginner or dreaming of playing for Canada’s team we promise to make you a better hockey player while having the time of your life. The days are full days from approximately 8:00am - 4:00pm, however, times may vary dependant on registration numbers. A full schedule will be mailed out to each participant closer to the start date of the camp. Each girl will be on the ice twice and learn valuable off-ice hockey instruction during the days as well. Lunch is not provided but can be purchased at the facilities. I have many knowledgeable instructors willing to motivate each girl to achieve her dreams. Not only are they some of the best hockey players in the world they are also great teachers. We will work on power-skating, stick-handling, shooting and passing as well as individualized goaltender instructions all while maintaining a fun atmosphere.
